Dr. Mark L. Mokrzycki

  Mark L. Mokrzycki, M.D., MBA is Founder and Director of Urogynecology Arts of New Jersey, P.A.

Dr. Mokrzycki received his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1987 and his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine in 1992. After completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the New York University Medical Center, he completed a fellowship in urogynecology at the same institution under the tutelage of Robert F. Porges, one of the world renowned experts in the field. He earned a Masters in Business degree from the New York Institute of Technology to facilitate practice management and patient care. Dr. Mokrzycki is board certified both in female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery (urogynecology) and in general obstetric & gynecology.

Dr. Mokrzycki is recognized as one of the most competent and talented surgeons in the state of New Jersey. He has been instrumental in developing many of the cutting edge surgical techniques that have revolutionized the care of women with pelvic floor disorders. Along with his clinical skills, Dr. Mokrzycki is widely regarded as one of the leading educators in the field of urogynecology. He has taught many of the latest, state-of-the-art techniques in pelvic surgery in use today to numerous physicians locally, nationally, and internationally. He has held faculty appointments at the New York University School of Medicine, the University of Medicine and Dentistry Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and, most recently, the Drexel University College of Medicine as an Associate Professor.

Dr. Mokrzycki has a national and international reputation for research in Urogynecology. His research interests include: pharmacotherapy and urinary incontinence; evaluation of surgical outcomes for urinary stress incontinence; pessary management; the use of mesh materials in the repair of pelvic organ prolapse; interstitial cystitis and the painful bladder syndrome; and estrogens and pelvic floor dysfunction.
